Greetings and welcome from the Principal of RCA Girls’ PG College, Mathura.
RCA Girls’ PG College is a premiere educational institution dedicated to girls, situated in the heart of the city. The college is governed by Agrawal Kanya Shiksha Sabha (Regd.) and is affiliated to Dr B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra. Established in 1971 with a vision of educating and empowering young girls, the college imparts quality education to the girls of Mathura and the nearby areas. The college has come a long way from its inception.
The college runs Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in Arts, Science and Commerce with a choice of approximately 25 subject options. A PG diploma in Journalism is also offered by the college. The college endeavours to provide high quality education blended with high ethical and moral values to work in tune with its vision of women empowerment by transforming the students into competent, committed and responsible human beings.
The institution has the privilege to have highly qualified and experienced faculty and a well equipped infrastructure, including a smart class room, a modern conference room, a fully air-conditioned Auditorium and state-of-the-art labs for all practical subjects. The college also provides ample opportunities to nurture the extra-curricular talent of students by giving them a platform both on and off the campus. The curriculum is supplemented by a variety of activities such as- guest lectures, debates, seminars, workshops, placement drives, cultural programs, etc.
Different need-based skill development programs are also offered by the college as a part of the curriculum. Some such programs are- Self-employed tailor, Yoga instructor, PRO, Communication Skills, Computer and Office Management, etc. which provide the students with hands-on training and subsequently can open new job avenues for the students.
The college also provides a safe and secure atmosphere for girls with CCTV vigilance at important locations. Every member of the RCA family, be it the Management, faculty or the office staff, is committed to prepare and facilitate the girls to meet the challenges of the society with their sound moral and ethical values and deep knowledge and wisdom.
