PAST EVENTS

  • 12.01.2024 – On the occasion of the National Youth Day, the College hosted the live telecast of the speech addressed by the Honorable CM of Uttar Pradesh, Sri. Yogi Adityanath to the youths of the state from Lucknow. The Chief Minister discussed the ideology of Swami Vivekananda and inspired the youths to realize the conceptual idea of the National Youth Day 2024’ which is “Arise Awake and Realize the Power within You”. The Principal, Dr. Preeti Johari also addressed the students and discussed the chief tenets of the CM’s Speech.
  • 21.12.2023 – The honorable state Higher Education Minister Smt. Rajni Tiwari visited the college accompanied by RHEO, Dr. Rajesh Prakash and Dr. Satyendra Chahar from Govt. Degree College, Mant. In her address to the students, the honorable minister discussed the advantages of NEP – 2020. She also inspected Science Laboratories, Sport Complex, Conference Room and the Auditorium. The Principal, Dr. Preeti Johari, mentioned Smt. Tiwari that the College is the only educational institution in Mathura district which has conducted NAAC twice successfully.
  • 14.12.2023 – As part of outreach programme, the Women Cell of UP Police, Mathura organised Operation Jagriti to make the girl students aware of the different type of violence and crimes committed against women in society along with the security measures that should be adopted to prevent them. In this programme, SI Namrata Sandhu, SHO Amit bhati and SI Alka gave examples of how women are entrapped into immoral, criminal activities. The Principle Prof. Preeti Johri rendered vote of thanks and advised the students to remain obedient to their parents in order to avoid several unforeseen accidents in life.
  • 11.12.23 – The live streaming of the inauguration of Viksit Bharat@2047 in which the honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the youth of the country was organized in the Conference Room of the College. The students provided remarkable feedback after the telecast.
  • 05.12.23 – Under the UP Govt. Mission Shakti initiative Legal Literacy Camp was organized by NSS units of the College. Legal Services Authority, Mathura district collaborated in this event where Mrs. Neeru Sharma, ADJ, Secretary DLSA, Mathura and Adv. Pratibha Sharma Member, Lok Adalat, Mathura were the chief Speakers.
  • 16.08.2023 – The 77th Independence day celebration was held in the college campus with the hoisting of National Flag by the former State cabinet minister Shri Ravi  Kant Garg, President of the Managing Committee, Shri Ramesh Mittal, Secretary Shri Girish Agrawal, other members of Managing Committee and other important dignitaries. The students performed cultural activities also to commemorate the sacrifices of the freedom fighters.
  • 14.08.2023 – The S.S.P., Mathura Sri Shailesh Kumar Pandey, visited the College and planted a Gulmohar tree in the campus under the ‘Van Mahotsav – 21.07.2023 to 15.08.2023‘. He also addressed the students and motivated them about environment conservation.
  • 06.08.2023 – In an event, organised on 05.8.2023, honorable Member Of Parliament Smt. Hema Malini inaugurated science laboratories of the College granted from the MP fund of Smt. Rekha Ganeshan, Ex MP Rajyasabha, in the presence of Shri Meghshyam Singh, MLA, Govardhan, members of Managing Committee, other officials from local administration, Principal Dr. Preeti Johari and Secretary Shri Girish Agrawal. Shri Agrawal gifted a novel named  ‘Kaha Kahon in Nainan Ki Baat’ written by his deceased father and founder of the institution Shri Priya Sharan Agrawal to the chief guest Smt. Hema Malini. The hon’ble MP, Mrs. Hema Malini was happy with the progress of the College and assured for further help to the college to promote girls education.
  • Student Induction Programme 2023
  • 07.08.2023 – A Student Induction Programme is being organised in the College campus from 7th to 12th August 2023 to orient the newly admitted students from all streams about the College, New Education Policy and different co-curricular activities. A plethora of programmes like Dance Performance, Quiz, Speech Competition, Rangoli & Mehandi Making Competition, Spiritual talk, Guest Lecture by Eminent Speakers have been planned in this week long programme.
  • 21.07.2023 – On the occasion of Van Mahotsav (Dated – 20.07.2023), the Nature Club and NSS organised a ‘Tree Plantation Program‘ in which Mr. Vinod Agrawal, Mayor of Mathura city was present. All the members of Managing Committee along with Secretary sir, Principal Prof. Preeti Johari and Teachers planted trees in the campus. A seminar was also organised in which the students exchanged views regarding the role of Plants in controlling pollution, water crisis and global warming.
  • 13.05.2023 – A meeting was organised by IQAC to perform AAA for the past five years. Prof. Pushpendra Kumar Surya, Dept. of Commerce and Prof. Anshu, Dept. of Geography of Kirorimal College, Delhi were the external experts who supervised the PPT presentation given by the departments. They also analysed the AAA proforma of the faculty members and gave necessary suggestions.
  • 26.04.2023 – The NSS in association with ‘Braj Transport and Environmental Awareness Committee’ organised a Blood Donation Camp on 25.04.2023 in which almost 26 people including teachers, students and non-teaching staff donated their blood. The Honourable Principal Dr. Preeti Johari inaugurated the program by being the first donor.
  • 10.04.2023 –  The Dept. of Economics organised a guest lecture on ‘Know Your Intellectual, Know Your Property Rights‘ by Dr. Yogesh Murti, Associate Professor, Dept. of Pharmaceutical chemistry, GLA University, Mathura.
  • 06.04.2023 – On the occasion of ‘World Health Day‘ a health checkup camp was organised by the Dept. of Home Science for the students and teachers under the supervision of Dr. Richa Bansal, Director of Sharda Pathology Laboratory.
  • 05.04.2023 –  The leading newspaper Amar Ujala organised a program named ‘Police ki Pathshala‘ in which Mr. Shyam Ojha, Chief District Bureau of Amar Ujala and Mr. M.P. Singh, SP City, Mathura were present to make the students aware of cyber crime and the presence of women cell in every police station.
  • 28.03.2023 –The Botany department conducted an educational tour of B.Sc. 3rd semester students to Jawahar Bagh, Mathura under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh Verma, Asst. Prof., Dept. of Botany.
  • 27.03.2023 –In the three days program of G-20 International Yoga and Millet Fair held in Vrindavan from 25.03.2023 to 27.03.2023 the students participated with enthusiasm and received certificates. Dr. Seema Sharma, Asst. Prof., Dept. of Commerce also received appreciation award in the programme.
  • 26.03.2023 – A one day NSS camp was organised at the Tulsivan in ‘Yamuna mission Marg’ under the leadership of programme officers Dr. Pooja Rai and Dr. Sushma Agrawal, where the students planted trees and conducted cleanliness drive. The students also obtained fire safety training in the college from Shri Vineet Sharma of the Rapid Action Fire Department, Mathura.
  • 25.03.2023 – The 5-Days Rangers Camp that began on 20.03.2023 came to an end on 24.03.2023 with the Initiation and Oath ceremony of the Rangers’ students in the presence of the Rangers’ leaders Km. Menika Gupta, Dr. Archana Sonia and Instructor Shri Kanhaiya Sharma, Commissioner of District Rangers Organisation.
  • 20.03.2023 – On the occasion of ‘International Sparrow Day’, a Bird Nest Making Competition was organised by the Nature Club. To spread awareness about the conservation of sparrows which are considered as endangered now.
  • 20.03.2023 – A farewell party was arranged by the M.A. Previous students for their final year seniors. To make them feel special and appreciated and also to create happy memories of their college lives. Miss Divya Sharma of M. Com final year was crowned as Miss RCA.
  • 18.03.2023 – A Seven Day NSS camp that began on 11.03.2023 successfully ended on 17.03.2023 with the cultural programme performed by the students. In this weeklong, camp held in Kalyanam Karoti, Mathura, students took active participation in Rallies, Yoga, Welfare and Awareness Programmes in the neighbouring areas, Educating Special Children of Kalyanam Karoti in different skills and lectures delivered about the importance of NSS and community service.
  • 14.03.2023 – A One Day Workshop on ‘Green Practices and Academic & Administrative Audit’ was conducted by the IQAC in which Prof. Pushpendra Kumar Surya, Professor, Kirorimal College, University of Delhi was the key Speaker. Prof. Surya delivered an illuminating lecture detailing minute aspects regarding green practices and the methodologies that should be adopted in relation to Academic & Administration Audit for NAAC accreditation.
  • 13.03.2023 – In collaboration with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Agra chapter the Dept. of Commerce organized a Guest Lecture on Career as a Company Secretary. The in-charge of ICSI, Agra chapter Mr. Sandeep Kumar coordinated the programme and CS Rohit Bansal gave an inspiring lecture on the validity of choice of Company Secretary as a career option for girl students. The talk was attended by the students of other local colleges also.
  • 08.03.2023: To commemorate the ‘International Women’s Day’ a skit entitled ‘Ab Nahi Sahenge Hum’ was Staged by the Students under the guidance of ‘Women Empowerment Cell’ on 04.03.2023 (before Holi vacation).
  • 28.02.2023- The MoU between the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Agra chapter and the College under which the College retains its existing status of ICSI authorized study center in Mathura, was renewed in the presence of CS Kapil Verma, chairman ICSI, Agra, CS Akash Bansal, Vice Chairman ICSI Agra, Mr. Sandeep Verma, Office-in-charge, ICSI Agra and Shri Girish Agrawal, Secretary, R.C.A. Girls’ PG College and Prof. Preeti Johari, Principal, R.C.A. Girls’ PG College. In an inspiring talk CS Verma also discussed the importance of CS as a career option for the girl students.
  • 28.02.2023- On the occasion of National Science Day the Faculty of Science organized a Quiz Competition to encourage the importance of science in our everyday lives.
  • 25.02.2023– The departments of Chemistry and Zoology celebrated the International Cochlear Implant Day. The Dept. of Sociology also organized an exhibition on the topic ‘Current Problems of Tribes in India and their Social Status’.
  • 24.02.2023 – The Post Graduate Research and Innovation Council organized a talk on journalism by the eminent journalist and retired professor Dr. Dayanand Srivastav, Dept. of Mass Communication, BHU as the part of guest lecture series.
  • 23.02.2023 – The dept. of Sociology organized an Educational Tour for M.A. Students and made field visit at Peengri Village.
  • On 4th September,2021, The Orientation Programme with the 1st year students along with their parents was organized in the auditorium. Around 300 students of all faculties participated in this programme and were benefitted from this interactive session.

  • From 8th September, 2021 to 14th September,2021 the Department of Hindi organized ‘Hindi Week’. The celebration started with ‘Kavya Path Competition through Google Meet. It was followed by other activities like Poster Making, Essay Writing, Speech and Quiz Competition and the week was concluded with ‘Poetry Recitation by eminent Hindi Poet Dr. Manvir Madhur.

  • On 4th October.2021, the 50th year of college Foundation Day was celebrated with HAVAN. The Hawan initiated College’s Golden jubilee Celebration. On the same day, a national level KAVI SAMMELAN ‘Kavyanjali ‘was organized.

  • On 30th October,2021, with the initiative of the Eco-Club, the college organized an exhibition of eco-friendly items for Diwali prepared by students of Kalyanam Karoti.

  • On 8th December,2021, under the auspice of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra. An Inter-Collegiate Badminton(Women’s) Tournament was organized in which around 50 players from different colleges participated.

  • On 21st December,2021 , A Three day Golden Jubilee Badminton Tournament was organized in the Priyasaran Radhaballabh Agrawal Memorial Sports Complex of the college where 120 players from all over the country participated with zest and enthusiasm.

  • On 23rd December,2021, the ‘Inter-Collegiate Competitions’ like Debate, Speech, Hindi and English Essay writing, Poster Making, Dance and Light Music were organized in which about 110 students from 10 different colleges of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra showcased their knowledge and acumen.

  • On 25th December, 2021, a Live telecast of Distribution of smartphones by the Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow was arranged in the Conference Hall of the college.

  • On 23rd January,2022, the 125th birth anniversary of legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was celebrated virtually in which teachers and students paid homage the national hero.

  • On 21st February,2022, International Mother Language Day was celebrated to create awareness about the linguistic and cultural diversity of our country with an aim to promote multilingualism, protection and preservation of all languages.

  • From 3rd March to 5th March,2022, Rangers Camp was organized in the college campus where students obtained training related to outdoor activities and community service.

  • From 23rd March to 27th March,2022, The Golden Gallery Exhibition showcasing 50 years journey of the college was displayed through art works, photographs, paintings, handicrafts and various science models. It was organized by the Department of Drawing and Painting, Dept. of Home Science and Science Faculty under the guidance of Dr. Sandhya Srivastava.

  • On 27th March, 2022, The Annual Day Celebration ‘Swarnanjali’ was held with great pomp and show with the lustrous Smt. Hema Malini, Member of Parliament gracing the occasion as the chief guest.

  • On 27th March an Alumni Felicitation Programme was also organized in which alumni from first decade of the college and alumni successful in various fields of life were felicitated. They shared their cherished moments as students in the college.

  • On 22nd April,2022, under the joint venture of Eco Club and IQAC, Earth Day was celebrated with activities like Slogan Writing, Poster Making and Plantation of saplings.

  • From 17th June to 22nd June 2022, on the occasion of Yoga Day, a 5days Yoga Camp was organized in the college campus by NSS in which students became aware of the necessity of Yoga in everyday life and also learnt various Asanas.

  • In the wake of 75th year celebration of Independence that is, Amrit Mahotsav, the college celebrated birth days of various patriots and also made students aware about various lesser known warriors of the freedom struggle. The theme of annual day function of the college was also inspired by patriotic songs.
